Returns and Exchanges

So, lets address the elephant in the room. Returns & Exchanges. They happen, and it’s okay. That’s why we’re here.

Here at Different Textures: Nourishing your hair with the most care.™, our return policy is as simple as our purchasing.


Here is what WE do:

  • Supply you with FREE shipping on all returned products. You already paid to get the goods, why should you pay to send ‘em back?
  • We will mail a box containing a return label and directions on how to send the product back to us.
  • We offer a full refund on the following:

Defective Orders

*YOU HAVE 30 DAYS FROM PURCHASE DATE TO CONTACT US FOR A REFUND. After  30 Days have passed, you will have forfeited the right to ask for a return.  Shoot us an email at support@differenttextureshaircare.com and we WILL get back to you within 24 hours.


Here’s what YOU have to do:

  • Email us at support@differenttextureshaircare.com briefly telling us why you’re returning/exchanging an item. In your email, include your order number and your shipping address.
  • You must send us back the unused product and we will commence with the Return operation. Remember, you do NOT have to pay for return shipping or a box. We do need the order number so keep that handy.

IMPORTANT: To be eligible for a return, your item must also be in the original packaging. 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-10 business days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@differenttextureshaircare.com.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


There is only one situation where we are willing to exchange an item and this is if we sent you the wrong item.

In the event that we mailed you the wrong item, we will mail you out the correct original purchase. No monetary refund will be given and you will be allowed to keep the first product we sent.


Please allow us up to 4 weeks for returns. In most instances, it will not take this long, however, there is a schedule we have to abide by.

If you are returning a product:

Sending you a box and return label can take up to 7-10 business days

Allowing you 7-10 business days to ship the unused product back to us

3-5 business days to allow us processing time for the return

If you are exchanging a product:

It will take us 7-10 business days to send you the correct product from the original order.
